This tank comes fully assembled with a 1440 Watt element and the 1/4" NPT fitting for attaching the thermocoupler from any of the BI Series Systems.
  2. Specifications: The tank is fabricated from 16 Guage steel and then Tig welded on Four (4) corners. The tank depth is 8" to accomdate the extra agitation that accompanies electric controlled black oxide tanks. The top edge of the tank has a 1/2" rolled edge, providing a smooth and clean appearance. It comes with both a 1" NPT welded fitting for the electric element as well as the 1/4" NPT welded fitting for the thermocoupler. The tank is pressurized after fabrication to insure no leaks are present at the welds. The tank is then painted with a DuPont, highly durable finish to enhance looks and help prevent rusting.
